I’m not really sure where to start.
In my teenage years, I grew up outside of Portland, Oregon, and started thrifting and garage sale-ing to buy clothes and trinkets. I quickly learned that I could find the same clothes my piers were wearing without breaking my little teenage bank, as my parents no longer paid for my things.
I learned to love the hunt of thrifting and acquired useful skills like sewing, refurbishing, resourcefulness, and creative repurposing.
Besides learning new skills, I learned important life lessons like the importance of value, what I valued, easy ways to save money, new forms of recycling, and how you don’t need to have tons of money to have nice things. And that is what I hope to share with you on Thrift+Class, no matter where you are in the world, you can find the luxury in thrifting.
